I was born and raised in Abilene and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Finance. I was an investment advisor for 38 years, and have been licensed in insurance for 30! I’ve been married to my wife Sarah for 42 years with two sons and two grandchildren. I owned P&C Company from 2014 until 2021 and set up Miers insurance in the same year. Before 2014, I specialized in selling Life and Health insurance. Being able to make sure folks get the protection they need at the best prices is the best part of my job. I love my family and being around the people I work with daily. I enjoy being a part of their lives and them a part of mine. In my downtime, I play golf with friends and spend time with my family – usually watching sports.

I’m a long-time member of the Clyde and Abilene communities and consider the ties that those relationships bring to have the utmost value. My insurance journey began in 2001, but I’ve been in the “People” business since 1994. I’ve been an active agent since 2020. I love meeting new people, establishing a relationship, and then building that relationship with trust and education. There’s joy in knowing you’ve helped provide security for the things they value most! I’m a wife and mother of 3 beautiful daughters, and an “Army mom” to my oldest son. We’ve used teamwork and respect to build a truly amazing family.  I’m an avid fan of all things theatre. I love performing, writing, and watching local productions with the Abilene Community Theatre. In my downtime, I love fishing, lake time with friends, and have been known to play a mean game of poker. My husband and I love to travel and really enjoy new food, people, and places!

I was born in Hamby, TX outside of Abilene, TX. I graduated from Clyde High School and attended Cisco College. I have a sense of pride in helping clients with their insurance needs and bringing them comfort knowing they are covered during their time of need. Creating! Art and crafts, home repairs and remodeling, and gardening. I love live music and being outdoors. When the weather is nice, I am outside working in my yard. If the weather is bad, I am inside binging a show or working on a craft project. I am an election worker. I spend every election in a 100-year-old, single-room, schoolhouse. I recently petitioned the county to make repairs to the much-loved building.

I grew up in Abilene, Texas. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Elementary Education. Now 35 years later I had an opportunity and decided to sell Medicare insurance! I love visiting and helping people. Getting to know what health care needs they have for now and the ones they may have for the future. It is a great feeling to be able to guide and set them up with a good plan for life. What I love most in life is my family, especially my grandchildren! I always have a lot to say about them!  When I’m not selling Medicare, on the weekends I am working part-time at a local gift shop. It also allows me to visit with people and is a lot of fun. It doesn’t seem like work!
