Did you know that the Texas Council on Family Violence estimates that 1 in 3 Texans will be a victim of domestic violence during their lifetime? Battery, family violence, dating violence, and even human trafficking are all examples of domestic violence that might be suffered in silence by people we may even know. Our agency believes that no one should be faced with such dangerous circumstances, so we are excited to support The Noah Project as part of our first community cause campaign.

The Noah Project makes it its mission to empower victims of abuse to evolve into survivors. They are working to end domestic violence and sexual assault in our communities. Their services include (but are not limited to) shelter, food & clothing, legal services, accompaniment, safety planning, education, and employment support. As of 2020, the nonprofit organization has expanded its shelter capacity by 24 beds, totaling 96 beds for survivors until they get back on their feet. 

The work done by the Noah Project is truly commendable, and we are excited to support them however we can. In fact, you can help too – and it’s easy.
